This is cool.

This type of art style is personally one of my favorites. The inferno/lava sprite is the same image, just made to look shinier, which is why it’s usually called the younger brother of the jewel sprite (I’ll make that tutorial later.)

1. Choose the image of your choice.  Right click the image, choose “Copy Image”, go to MS Paint and click “Edit” and “Paste”. The image you selected should be there.

2. Color the outlines with the darkest color in the palette with the Pencil tool .

3. (Optional)  After that, using some other tool like the Paint tool if it has one color in the palette or if it has more than two, the Eraser tool   to make the entire inside white. color it thoroughly to make sure it is completely white, no color should be left when you’re done with it. If you don’t want to color the inside white first, then proceed to do step 3 and color the inside with the second darkest color you have.

4. Using the Eye Dropper tool , pick the second darkest color. Now use the Paint tool and color the inside with the second darkest color in the palette you have. Everything should be colored in now.

5. Now comes the repetitive part. Shade in the next darkest color you have, making sure to leave the second darkest in some sort of layered form.

Kinda like that. See how the other color remained intact?

6. Shade around the other color, in the same, layered form.

7. Same thing, but with the next color.

8. And the next…

9. And now that you’ve reached the final color, just color the parts you haven’t colored in with the brightest one.

Now it looks shiny.

PROTIP: If the next color doesn’t fit somewhere, just leave it.

Oh, and by the way, these are the colors that can be used for this type of art style.

Alright… so I’ll teach you how to Overshade a walking elephant man. Note: Overshading is pretty damn hard. The result, however, should pay off at the end.

1. Pick the image/sprite you want to shade. Right click on it, click “Copy Image”. Then go into MSP, and at the top, there should be the “Edit” button. Click that and then “Paste”. The image should be in Paint.

2. Using the Eye Dropper tool (Which should be located in the toolbar near the upper left corner), click the tool when you reach the lightest color of the image. On the top, click the button “Colors” and then the only setting displayed, “Edit Colors…” You should have a little box in front of you, and at the bottom, should be “Define Custom Colors »”. Click it and the color you clicked earlier should appear on the slidey thingy on the right. Slide it upwards to the point where it should be almost white. Click “OK” near the left and you should wind up with the pencil. Color inside the light area so it appears that there is more of a shine to it.

3.Repeat that step for dark colors. If you want it darker, slide the color down instead of up. After all of that work, the end result SHOULD look like this:

And here you go, a shinier walking elephant man.

Today I’ll teach you how to make an image that looks sort of ghosty with blue/white.

1. Select the image you want to work with. Right click on it and select “Copy image”. After that, go to MS Paint then press edit at the top. There should be the option “Paste”. Click Paste and the image should be there.

2. Find a really pale blue palette for the recoloring. Repeat step 1. Pick the colors apart by using the eye dropper and color eraser to create little squares of color.

3. Recolor the sprite by using the color eraser. the color that you want gone should be in the foreground and the color that you want to replace it with should be on the background.

4. Repeat step 3, but use white and gray for the other colors.  

Done. Final result is this weird thing.

This time we’re gonna make a chocolate sprite. Chocolates are where you recolor the entire thing brown to make it look chocolatey.

This time I’m going to chocolatize Nyan Cat. No one likes strawberry-flavored Pop-Tarts. We want chocolate!

1. Choose the sprite thingy.

2. Let’s go from the inside out. Chocolatize the outside of the Pop-Tart using the Paint tool.

3. Chocolatize the inside part now with the same tool.

4. Since the dotty stuff on the Chocolate Fudge Pop-Tart is white, I color it white.

Done.

Note: Any other secondary colors on a chocolate is either strawberry pink or chocolate brown. Since Nyan Cat was supposed to be a Chocolate Fudge Pop-Tart, I colored it white.

Yeah… So this is gonna be how to add a zombie-ish effect to any picture of your choice. (I usually work with Pokemon sprites, not ‘cuz I’m a nerd, just that It’s easy to work with)

1. Choose your picture (I chose Charizard from le Pokeymanz)

2. Using the pencil option, color the eyes all black. Red pupils add an evil effect to the zombie.

3. Using the Color choose and Color eraser options, color the entire thing dark green to make it look like a real zombie. Any other colors on the image may be colored gray.

4. Now for the flesh wounds, bone, and bloody stuff. Use the pencil option, create large tears of flesh on any area of your choice. You can add bone, tears in the wings, and blood.

So this bloggy thing is gonna be about MS Paint stuff, like showing you how to make a zombie with blood and gore and stuff, or a nyan cat version of something. This stuff is gonna come in handy when you want to edit a family picture when you have kids and a family, but that won’t be in a loooooong time.
